2009 Maze
The 2009 maze celebrates our 10th season of corn-fueled fun with a tribute to a movie that is a timeless classic worthy of a Fritzler MAiZE design.

The Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion from "The Wizard of OZ" bring our 2009 design to life. A tribute to a movie we all know and love guarantees plently of twists, turns, and scares - "oh, my!"

2008 Maze
The 2008 design is Glen's tribute to his parents, who have been by his side since the beginning of the Fritzler Maze saga back in 2000.

Without their help, the maze wouldn't be where it is today, and Glen would be hard-pressed to carry on the Fritzler family farms name on this own. Thanks mom and dad!

2007 Maze
The 2007 maze design is the Fritzler MAiZE tribute to legendary Country-Western singer and bareback rodeo cowboy Chris LeDoux.

Chris called Kaycee, Wyoming home and died of a rare form of cancer in March of 2005.

Beloved by the rodeo world, LeDoux’s music captured the spirit of the sport - and of the American West.

Learn more about Chris LeDoux by visiting www.chrisledoux.com.

2006 Maze
The 2006 design is the Colorado quarter, released June 14th, 2006 on the west steps of the Colorado State Capital.

The Colorado Quarter was developed as part of the U.S. Mint's Fifty State Commemorative Coin Program.

Five designs were submitted to Colorado Governor Bill Owens, who made the final decision on which design would best represent our great state.

2005 Maze
The 2005 maze design is a tribute to the "Kings of Soul and Rock-n-Roll."

Ray Charles (September 23, 1930 - June 10, 2004)
Elvis Presley (January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977)

Both of these great musicians played a pivotal role in shaping American music of their respective times and continue to influence music even today.

2004 Maze
The 2004 design is dedicated to the brave US Military troops that protect our country and depicts the United State Marines raising the flag at the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II.

Although only four Marines are readily visible in the well-known photograph (and in our maze design), there were actually six - four in the foreground and two more behind.

Left to right in the foreground: Ira Hayes, Franklin Sousley, John Bradley, and Harlon Block. In the back: Michael Strank (behind Sousley), and Rene Gagnon (behind Bradley).

To learn more about the pivotal Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II and the Marines in the photo, visit www.iwojima.com.

2003 Maze
The 2003 maze design is of Ol' Number 7 (holding the Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy) and the Colorado Crush logo.

As a starting quarterback and MVP (SB XXXIII), John Elway led the Broncos to 148 winning games and their consecutive first and second Super Bowl victories in 1998 and 1999.

A favorite of maze owner Glen Fritzler, and arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, it only seemed fitting to include John Elway in one of our maze designs.

Also included in the design is the logo of the Colorado Crush - the Arena Football League team owned by Elway.

2002 Maze
Featured on the Today Show, the 2002 design was dedicated to the memory of those lost in the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and to the great country that we live in: The USA.

This year "God Bless the U.S.A." by Lee Greenwood was the anthem sung by hearts across the nation and Patriot Day was enacted by the President as a day of remembrance.

2001 Maze
The 2001 maze design is of Thunder, the Denver Broncos mascot, stomping on the logo of the Oakland Raiders.

Thunder is an 18-year old purebred Arabian stallion who made his debut on September 12, 1993.

Thunder has appeared at all Broncos games and both Super Bowl XXXII and XXXIII since then. He is in his tenth season with the Denver Broncos Football Club.

2000 Maze
The year 2000 was the first year of the maze, and the design was the new Denver Broncos logo.

As the owners of the maze are avid Denver Broncos fans, they wanted to show their support for the team. Incorporating the team logo into their maze was the perfect opportunity.

Many thanks to all those who made 2000 a successful year!
