Why a farm field trip?
Many children know little about where their food comes from and most have never been to a
farm. Fritzler Farms offers the opportunity for school age children to be exposed to
agriculture, our state's foundation, through a unique and educational outdoor adventure.
Students will be challenged to work the puzzle of the
maze, cooperating and making group decisions all while surrounded by a classroom in the corn. |
|

|
Tie your day into our online curriculum materials and navigate the maze with our interactive
passports about corn and your students will be learning interesting facts about farming all
while having fun.
Listed below are special field trip prices for

Field Trip Ticket Packages
Select as many activities as you want, and for everything
over $4, we'll take $.25 off each dollar. For example, if you select activities that total $6,
your cost will be $5.50.
Our goal is to make our field trips affordable for every
student in Colorado. If cost is an issue, we have scholarships available for classes or
individuals needing assistance.
Field Trip Curriculum
Hands-on learning experiences are always best when students have been prepared for
what they are about to encounter and are able to then discuss what they learned afterwards.
We are pleased to offer our Classroom in the Corn learning series to make your field
trip more exciting and memorable ... as well as a better learning experience.
These Teacher Resource Guides are broken into separate
grade ranges and each include: activity goals, National Curriculum Standards, preparation
required, materials needed, worksheets, and step-by-step instructions.
